EXPERIENCE

The Workplace Experience Learning (WEL) program is a six-month mandatory industrial attachment initiative of DTI. The program is a requirement for trainees to complete their 18-month program. The rationale behind the WEL program is to expose trainees to the operations and practices of industry. The initiative is expected to enhance their practical knowledge and experience in preparation for the job market as part of the transition to work program. The program also allows trainees to work after school and on weekends to earn an allowance to augment their living or even contribute to their fees. Management makes a conscious effort to provide trainees with the opportunity to work in a production company like A & A to enhance their skills and promote their employability. Additionally, trainees engage with industry through:
