Your DTI journey does not end when you graduate; rather, it just begins. Our alumni are our most ardent supporters, and the work they do after graduation helps extend our reach. Across the country, our alumni are making a difference in a variety of fields. We continue to assist our alumni with career coaching, business support through our Community Innovation Programme, and a lifetime of memories with friends.

DTI Alumni Association

The Alumni Association serves as the leadership and representative body for our alumni community, providing structure, direction, and avenues for engagement. The work of the Association is centred on increasing and deepening alumni engagement through a variety of programmes that will benefit the alumni community.

Mr Alexander Otopah is the Assistant Facilities Manager at the Design and Technology Institute. He graduated from DTI in 2020 and is responsible for fleet management, administrative and operational facilities management, event planning, and setup. Alex is passionate about learning new skills, solving problems, and helping others. He is also a good team player with a good sense of humour.

Mr Daniel Twumasi is an entrepreneur and a recent graduate of the Design and Technology Institute (DTI). He is currently incubating his agro-machinery manufacturing business at the DTI Incubation Hub. Daniel is passionate about entrepreneurship in the food processing, engineering, real estate, waste management, renewable energy, and agriculture sectors. He is also committed to giving back to society and building teams. He believes that Africans can solve their own challenges by working together.

Mr Karl Adu Dankwah is self employed as a freelance welder and fabricator. He is also a photographer and MC. He graduated in 2021. Karl is an avid lover of the arts, travelling, basketball and cultural experiences.

Miss Elizabeth Amoah is an entrepreneur in the Incubation Hub of DTI. She is into the manufacture of agro-machines. She graduated in2021 and she is passionate about entrepreneurship, believes in hard work and has a high drive to succeed even in the face of challenges.
