About the Fair:

The 2026 DTI Jobs and Opportunities Fair brings together learners, graduates, employers, and entrepreneurs to explore how AI and new technologies are reshaping careers. Participants get hands-on career guidance, direct access to employers, and practical insight into the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in an AI-enabled world of work.

Objectives

The Fair seeks to:

  • Expose young people to practical insights on the changing world of work and the impact of AI, technology, and innovation.
  • Connect participants directly with employers, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to understand workforce expectations and future skills needs.
  • Equip participants with practical career readiness skills — CV writing, interview preparation, networking, personal branding, and workplace professionalism.
  • Promote entrepreneurship and self-employment as viable pathways for economic participation and wealth creation.
  • Encourage lifelong learning, upskilling, and reskilling as essential strategies for staying competitive.
  • Facilitate access to employment, internship, apprenticeship, mentorship, and enterprise development opportunities.

  • Future Skills and AI Workshop – Exploring how AI, technology, and innovation are reshaping industries and highlighting strategies for adapting and upskilling.
  • Industry Insights Workshop – Practical, actionable insights directly from employers, business leaders, and professionals on workplace expectations and trends.
  • Career Readiness Workshop – Practical tools for CV writing, interview preparation, personal branding, networking, and career planning.
  • Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment Workshop – Showcasing entrepreneurship as a viable career pathway, with exposure to business opportunities and enterprise support.
