Precision Welding & Fabrication

The Precision Welding and Fabrication Programme at DTI has been enhanced with the American Welding Society (AWS) SENSE (Schools Excelling through National Skills Education) accreditation.

The program provides learners with technical expertise, practical knowledge, and professional attitudes necessary to thrive in the welding and fabrication sector. Our instructors, who are Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI), NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) specialists, and welding experts, offer a wealth of industry knowledge and ensure world-class training.

As the first accredited institution in Africa to offer the AWS SENSE programme by the American Welding Society, DTI ensures that its training meets globally recognised benchmarks for welding education while equipping young individuals with the skills needed to excel in the industry.
