Bernard Kafui Sokpe named as Guest Speaker for DTI 2022 Graduation Ceremony


Bernard Kafui Sokpe, the Co-Founder of The Brandmeister, will be addressing graduates as the keynote speaker at DTI’s 2022 graduation ceremony on 17th November 2022 at Nubuke Foundation Gardens. The ceremony will be under the theme “Championing the Youth Job and Skills Agenda.”

Bernard is a seasoned brand marketing consultant and avid entrepreneur with over a decade of career experience driving value and growth for multinationals in telecom, e-commerce, and tech.

He is the Co-Founder of The Brandmeister, a consultancy firm that provides insight-led brand and marketing solutions to businesses across Africa.

Throughout his career, he has joined multiple businesses from their inception, some at their prime and most at their lowest, and played instrumental roles in helping them chalk major achievements. He started his career working in 4am Saatchi as a Graphic designer, then as a digital brand specialist and customer loyalty manager in Vodafone Ghana, he went further to work as a marketing and brand manager at, Hubtel, and Fido Money before Co-founding Brandmeister and later joining Twitter Africa as the Senior Partner Manager.

Under his leadership, Brandmeister worked with amazing organizations to create meaningful impact and compelling experiences that deliver results.

Bernard also worked as a Head of Marketing for Fido Solutions Limited where he led a marketing team of field agents, analysts, and call centre representatives. He led a tactical acquisition campaign for the Fido App that drove an increase in lenders from 400 monthly users to 2800 by the end of the first quarter.

With his wealth of experience in brand marketing, Bernard also doubles as a consultant for many start-ups as well as being an e-commerce coach for the International Trade Centre (United Nations).

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from KNUST and an MSC in Brand Leadership from Norwich Business School at the University of East Anglia, UK. His influence goes beyond social media with an extensive offline yet global network of professionals from Wolf Ollins, SuperUnion to Fitch Agency UK.
